Nibbles posted !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! of what's been happening on Oppo but Pauljones' remarks on the old guard still being around and the newer commenters being "kids" gave me some inspiration for silliness

As one of the newbies, who is on the far side of thirty, some of us are just late embracing, not "kids."

We are all kids compared to pauljones and gamecat and others. I just recently noticed I had been an author on oppo for over a year.....some people have been an author on oppo since oppo first became a thing.
One shudders to imagine what that kind of exposure does to the human mind....

The greatest trick Nibbles ever pulled was convincing Oppo he was a kid

That particular aspect of it wasn't meant to be universally applied, though I can see that it interpreted as such outside of the original context. For the most part, many of the complainers who have been getting overly dramatic and stirring shit are, quite literally, teenagers that have been around Oppositelock for a year at best. Thus, that comment was aimed more at that particular group than anyone else.

I assumed as such. Just seems like very few recents are legal to drink, let alone over 30.

....but can you at least appreciate another person's well-cared-for lawn, enough to stay off of it?

Only if the sign is posted in triplicate and 12 languages. I jest. I can see and appreciate the boundary.
